“¿Entiendes?” translated as “Do you understand?“ is spoken softly while meeting the strangers during the homo-repressive time in Spain. The question carries a subtler message - “Are you queer? Are you one of us?” Proa practices shibari for self-pleasure. She encounters six LGBTQ youths who tease her over-weight body tied up with ropes swinging in mid-air. These six LGBTQ youths take us through imaginary scenes of loving, cruising and violent acts. Teo, trainer in self-defense, is joined by the six youths as he reclaims the streets with defiant moves. While taking self-defense lessons, the six youth recount their non-binary gender-self in a series of personal portraits. In a final showdown, Teo and the six youth take their kicking and punching to the streets. Octo-Senso descends to intimate the youths who have drifted into wild dance moves, proclaiming ultimate liberation on a snowy spring night in Madrid.
